The country style beef fry, cooked in iron pans with a lot of curry leaves bring out a unique flavour and aroma which tastes beyond words! The best combination with beef fry is a side of Kerala Porottas; a layered flat bread made with flour. Beef dishes with porotta are very popular among the street foods of Kerala; it is such an exquisite dish that, be it a road side stall or a star hotel, you will find the same love and authenticity given to its preparation.

Traditionally done with pearl spot fish (here we use king fish and other suitable fishes). Fish is roasted in a wilted Banana leaf wrap & is marinated with spices and ground paste of red chilly,black pepper,ginger and garlic .Anthony Bourdain during his trip to Kerala compared the technique of cooking the fish in banana leaf to the classic french technique of fish en papillote (fish steamed in parchment pouches). The flavor penetrates well into the fish and the aroma of banana leaf is divine. This is one of the very classic preparation that everyone loves.
